My yoga passion started while still at school, rushing home to follow Richard Hittleman on TV, then started attending Ian Scorgie's classes at Bon Accord in the early 80's, latterly attending his teachers class.

I started teaching in 2005 on a cover bases before setting up my own classes in 2009 and qualified as a Hatha Yoga teacher with Yoga Scotland.

My style focuses on body and breath awareness, flowing between postures and getting students to relax.

Testimonials:

"Moira's yoga class helped me a lot before and after my hip replacement operation."
HH, Aberdeen.
"I have been coming to Moira's yoga for several years now, basically because I enjoy it and for the feeling of well being it gives me. I decided to take it up because for a number of years i have had problems with my shoulder and every so often when the pain spreads to my back & neck, I'd need to get physiotherapy to slacken things off. When I started it was just 5 girls and me and over time the numbers have grown but unfortunately (or fortunately) I am still the only guy. This has not made any difference and I am treated by all as one of the group, I am not excluded or made to feel self consious. I look forward to my weekly sessions and the coffee afterwards and although I still have a sore shoulder, I don't have the expense of physiotherapy"
JL, Ruthrieston
"Moira's classes are fun and very enjoyable. The classes may not appear to be very physical, but there is something very subtle about the combination of postures and breathing that Moira selects which brings about deep relaxation and all over body toning. I would thoroughly recommend Moira's classes to anyone."
