My yoga passion started while still at school, rushing home to follow Richard Hittleman on TV, then started attending Ian Scorgie's classes at Bon Accord in the early 80's, latterly attending his teachers class.
I started teaching in 2005 on a cover bases before setting up my own classes in 2009 and qualified as a Hatha Yoga teacher with Yoga Scotland.
My style focuses on body and breath awareness, flowing between postures and getting students to relax.
"As a fairly new pupil I would like to thank Moira for welcoming me into her class so kindly. She is encouraging and always mentions to do what you feel comfortable with. She demonstrates everything brilliantly, making it as easy to copy as possible, although I find something each lesson which I will have to work on.
Moira's lessons have something different each time but she always names the moves so eventually I will no doubt recognise more than I do so far.
When I have seen yoga being carried out I've always thought that it looks easy and flowing but now I'm in this class I am finding it gives every part of my body a proper work out and that the flowing part is much more difficult to achieve than it looks.
She also notices what everyone is doing and helps when someone is not in the right position or doing something wrong. She does this quietly so as not to embarrass them and doesn't distract the class.
Very enjoyable class.'

"Huge thanks for all the fantastic classes. It's my favourite 90 minutes in my week and has made a huge difference to how I feel about the rest of it!"
"Moira's classes are fun and very enjoyable. The classes may not appear to be very physical, but there is something very subtle about the combination of postures and breathing that Moira selects which brings about deep relaxation and all over body toning. I would thoroughly recommend Moira's classes to anyone."
